Mitec-Jebsen first to move into new Haiqing Industrial Park

In conjunction with Haiqing Industrial Park's official opening on Dec 15, 2009, Mitec-Jebsen became the first corporation to start its operations there.

The first phase of the industrial park project is completed, with white and grey tones for its six factories and an integrated building, and is undergoing piping works.

Members of the development committee Zhang Shikun, Gang Lu and Yan Lijun attended the opening ceremony. Mr Zhang said in his speech the park is 3km away from the Shenyang-Dalian highway, conveniently located and equipped with complete facilities. The zone should fully tap its potential to speed up construction and attract investment. Hence the committee will continue to enhance service awareness, in order to create the right conditions for economic development, making the zone an important growth and support centre.

Haiqing Industrial Park is located in Zone 74, with the first phase of construction at 76,000sqm on an investment of $168m. Infrastructural work is completed in Nov 2009, with six factories and an integrated building boasting complete internal amenities. The park's manufacturing facilities are suited for mechanical processing, moulding, electronic parts production, shipping parts production, storage, logistics and light industries.

Mitec-Jebsen is one of the first corporations to be attracted to the park, with an investment of RMB70m, mainly engaged in research and development and production of car balancer systems to reduce vehicle noise and vibration. It is the supplier for Volkswagen and Shanghai GM, and annual sales is expected to hit $108m.
